Terms of Service

The service

We create a personalised hardcover illustrated book based on details you provide about a specific person (usually a child, but it can be anyone: a partner, a friend, a parent, even a pet). The book is approximately 12 pages, generated using AI and reviewed by the operator before printing.

Pricing and delivery

• Softcover storybook: HK$348
• Hardcover storybook: HK$488
• Premium gift edition: HK$888
• Delivery: Hong Kong and Macau only. Free shipping is included in the price.
• Estimated time: 5 to 14 business days from payment to delivery, depending on print queue.

How an order works

1. You chat with our assistant to provide the details and optionally upload reference photos.
2. You pay via Stripe Checkout.
3. We generate the book and review it for quality.
4. We print the book and ship it to the address you provided.

Photos and content you provide

By uploading photos or providing details about another person, you confirm that:

• You have the right to share these photos.
• You have the consent of the person depicted (or their parent/guardian if a minor) for these photos to be used in your book.
• The content is your own or you otherwise have the right to use it.

We reserve the right to refuse orders containing inappropriate content (hate, violence, sexual content involving minors, or any other content that violates applicable laws).

AI-generated content

Books are partially AI-generated. While we review every book before printing, AI output can occasionally have small inaccuracies: a minor visual quirk, a slight difference in likeness, etc. We aim for high accuracy but cannot guarantee photographic-perfect resemblance. If a generated book is clearly wrong (wrong person, wrong scene, obvious defect), it falls under our refund policy.

Refunds

• Before generation: full refund, no questions asked.
• After generation, before printing: full refund. We delete the AI-generated content.
• After printing or shipping: no refunds, except where the book arrives damaged or with a major defect (wrong recipient, missing pages, illegible print). In those cases: free replacement or a full refund, your choice.

Intellectual property

• You own your personal copy of the book and may share it with family and friends.
• We retain the rights to the AI generation system, our prompts, and the visual style.
• We will not reuse your specific book content or photos for marketing without your explicit written permission.

Limitation of liability

Our total liability for any claim related to your order is limited to the amount you paid for the book. We are not responsible for incidental damages, lost time, missed gifting occasions, or any consequential loss.

Modifications to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Existing orders are honoured under the terms that applied at the time of purchase. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any dispute arising under these terms will be heard in the courts of Hong Kong.
